Reasons to Scan

The digital revolution is still in its infancy and is changing everyday. Everything from our music, books, and movies are quickly being mastered to this new media. But what about your families personal photographs.

One of the main reasons to scan is preservation, because over time those images are slowing fading out of existance and its not a matter of if, but when they will fade forever.

The second reason: Organization; and being able to organize and share those pictures easier either through your phone, or any other electronic device. How often do you communicate on the social media outlets sharing photos by simply uploading. I expect many of you do, however just think of just being able to upload that photo of you and your friends or relatives of something that was taken many years ago as you reconnect with old friends and memories.

The third reason is the protection of those precious memories. I for one know how a personal disaster like a fire or flood can do to your personal belongings. Most everything can be replaced except for those things that werent bought in a store. Smoke, burns marks, mold and mildew will destroy those memories in a matter of seconds and creating a digital backup would provide you and your family peace of mind knowing that your pictures were safe.
